We are on our way to Ireland on-board British Airways flight BA836 and I am hot for the first time since leaving Doha 3 days ago, I have the music cranked with some golden oldies, which suits us fine, Billy Joel is singing Piano Man ad brings back memories of propping up a bar at the old Railway Hotel as a 16 year old, the song has been around for a while now, he (Billy) is right about one thing, we are feeling alright.
Better than alright actually quite excited, we will bed down in Dublin tonight, something I have wanted to do for a long long time, just looked out the widow to see the shores of England pass below, the excitement builds as Michael Bubble belts out Georgia on my mind, a drink and some hand cut chips are served, no sooner than finish my drink and another look out the window to see the shores of Ireland and the landing gear is going down, that was quick, the sun is shining on Ireland this afternoon, as look down I see the glint of a thousand Irish eyes looking back at me, no wait it is just my reflection in the window.
WOO HOO we are in Ireland, whale oil beef hooked, to be sure to be sure!
